Information regarding an exploit

Recently an exploit was found that allows users to remote access into your computer. This exploit has affected every single Minecraft server, including the Minecraft client itself. Luckily, there is now a fix for this exploit which has been implemented into the Chasecraft servers.

UPDATE: Minecraft has released a client sided patch to this exploit, please restart your Minecraft launcher and any open games to automatically download the patch. You can still play on Chasecraft servers safely, but be cautious when on other servers.

Although Chasecraft is now safe to play on, there is a way you can protect yourself from this exploit by simply doing the following (although it will not guarantee to protect you, but it's still an extra safeguard against it!):

Go to your installations in your Minecraft Launcher, edit your usual installation(s), press More Options, and add this flag in the JVM Arguments:

-Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true
