This guide will walk you through the process of downloading the Chasecraft Pixelmon modpack so that you can log in and play on our Pixelmon server.

For Parents: We understand the safety of your children is your priority, therefore it's ours too. The Chasecraft Pixelmon Modpack is ran through a secure third-party launcher called the Technic Launcher (operated by Syndicate LLC), the Technic Launcher takes your privacy and security seriously, with all information never being disclosed to parties outside of their company, such as Chasecraft.

The Technic Launcher acts much like the regular Minecraft launcher except it's used solely for Modpacks, allowing you to install modpacks into your Minecraft game and play on them.

Click the following URL to download the Technic Launcher:

Once you’re on the website, scroll down until you see “It’s time to get started!” as highlighted in red in the image below.

Click on the appropriate Operating System (for most, it will be windows).

Follow the on-screen installation instructions, using the default settings.  Once the installation is completed, run the Technic Launcher.

This can be done by pressing the Start (Windows) key and then typing “techniclauncher” into the search bar.  The launcher should show up as the following:

Click the button at the top that we highlighted in red and wait for the launcher to open. When it's opened, you’ll be asked for a username and password to log in. This login is your Minecraft username and password, the same you would use when logging into your account through the regular Minecraft launcher.  So go ahead and log into your Minecraft account!

Once you’ve logged in click on "MODPACKS (as highlighted in red in the screenshot below):

Search for "Chasecraft Pixelmon" in order to find the exclusive Chasecraft Modpack. Once you find the Modpack, click on the Install button in the bottom right corner.

Now that the installation is done, just one last step before you can launch the game.

Click on “JAVA SETTINGS” in the menu that pops up and change your Memory to 4 GB.  

If you don’t see 4GB as an option, confirm that you’ve got 64 bit java installed.  If not, you can download 64 bit java from the java website:

Once that is completed, restart the launcher by exiting it and reopening it, and navigate back to the Chasecraft Modpack. Once you’ve found it click “Play”.  From here, the login process will be very similar to how you normally log into Minecraft to play on Chasecraft.

At the main login screen, click on "Multiplayer".

Then click on the Chasecraft server in the server list and click "Join Server"! That easy!

Once online, you’ll be able to click the icon for the Pixelmon server in the menu to start playing!

Now you know how to play Chasecraft Pixelmon, next time, all you need to do is open the Modpack in the TechnicLauncher and join the server from there!
